1.Dimensions:

2.Mechanical characteristics:

The closure pressure of the steel sheets is between 8/10 kg at contact, and consequently from 12/16 kg with the contact inserted in dovetail joint or rectangular channelling. The dynamometric checks indicated above are specifically checked at ambient temperatures between -50 C and + 60 C with a dynamometer, with the surface having a circular section of approximately 646 mm2.


3 .Electrical characteristics:
:
The insulation resistance of the sheets between each other and towards earth is higher than 30 Ohms in air, and after having been kept submerged under water for 72 hours. Maximum operating voltage is 100 V with direct current. The resistance of the contact sheets does not exceed 0,02 Ohms over time and at temperatures between - 50 and + 60. The checks indicated above were carried out using an electronic Meter and other electrical instruments.


4.Chemical composition of the rubber:

Compatible with the characteristics mentioned above, the rubber mixture used is resistant to wear, to abrasion, to exposure to sunlight, to mineral oils and to sodium chloride occasionally present on mountain tracks and roads leading to ski resorts.


5. Steel sheets for the contacts:

These are made of steel resistant to flexion. Anchorage of the steel sheet to the rubber of the contacts is carried out by means of vulcanization.


6.Performance:

The contacts described above perform with perfect normality under various climatic and atmospheric conditions.


7.Anti-wear protection:

A curved sheet of stainless steel is fitted to the upper part of the contact by a vulcanization procedure.


8.Warranty:
